On March 3, 2026, Bohinj hosted an extraordinary gathering that set new standards for Slovenian boutique tourism. The event, titled Frozen Table, marked the official introduction of Bohinj Club—a project that connects premium accommodations, fine dining, and carefully curated experiences.
A Visionary Partnership
Bohinj Club is a joint initiative by Fox on the Rocks Chalet and Vila Muhr. It was conceived as a response to the need for refined narratives that build upon Bohinj’s exceptional natural capital. The project brings together providers who share a common vision: high-quality living, respect for nature, and the creation of a deeper connection with the destination.
A Culinary Fairy Tale on Ice
The participants—including travel agency representatives, journalists, and tourism promoters—began their journey with a tea gathering at Vila Muhr, followed by a tasting of local cheeses and sparkling wines at the Fox on the Rocks estate. The centerpiece of the day took place in the alpine embrace of Vogel, where guests were welcomed by a handcrafted ice table. Chef Davor Arnautović prepared a fine-dining menu for the occasion, weaving local ingredients into a contemporary interpretation of Alpine cuisine.
More Than Just an Event
Frozen Table symbolized the power of collaboration and authenticity, qualities most valued by today’s high-end travelers. Guests described the experience with words such as “wow,” “quiet luxury,” connection with nature, and exceptional cuisine”.
Looking Ahead
While the next Bohinj Club gathering has not yet been officially announced, the organizers are already planning future events. Like the inaugural meeting, future experiences will be thoughtfully designed in dialogue with nature and the seasons.
