This year’s Blogomanija gathered professionals and media representatives, as well as lovers of fashion, design and beauty, who use the internet and diverse social networks to fuel their passion and make a living. A good word was spread through social networks by around 1.000 visitors who were covering the event on their channels.
After Tweetomania and Blogomania & New Energy, a new but familiar story is being told at Blogomanija Fashion & Beauty event. Maribor was chosen as the host destination for professionals coming from the most promising sphere of the Internet – fashion, beauty and lifestyle industry. The beautiful conference venue situated in a natural setting beneath the wooded Pohorje plateau in Slovenia, was an ideal location for this kind of event as it easily provides a great scenery for photos, videos and vlogs, posted on internet by the active visitors.
This year the event programme has been created with the goal of responding to all questions from those wishing to succeed in these industries – whether through launching blogs, creating fashion collections or advancing in their current careers. Over four days more than 100 lecturers including the president of the Serbian Fashion Week Svetlana Horvat, Croatian TV presenter and blogger Hana Hadžiavdagić Tabaković, Serbian blogger and journalist Branislava Antović, Serbian stylist Vanja Pantin, fashion blogger Sandy Skopljak who works in Sweden and is a founder of the largest Balkan channel showing sketches on YouTube (Milan Iniću – Yasserstainu), took the stage of the Hotel Habakuk’s congress hall. Case studies, interactive showrooms, photography workshops, fashion shows and social events complimented the conference programme.
