GR in Ljubljana Hosted the 11th International Tatoo Convention

The International Tattoo Convention, held at GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre’s Marble Hall, annually offers to the tattoo artists from different countries to showcase their work, while the tattoo enthusiasts can directly connect with the artist, bring their own motif, and check the artist’s work.

This year’s International Tattoo Convention, organised by Slovenia Tattoo Convention, was visited by 2000 visitors who were admiring work of more than 80 tattoo artists from Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Italy, Greece, Russia, Norway, Hungary, Denmark and Switzerland. Among 2000 visitors, more than 200 visitors were delighted in getting new images created onto their skin either by their own motif wishes or by the sole creation of the tattoo master. Accompanying the tattoo creations, there were also bodypainting creations presented.

The Convention offered to the artists to get a direct insight into the work of other creators while getting an opportunity in exchanging the experiences. At the same time, the artists were enabled to familiarize with the new trends, technics, methods and tools in the tattoo industry. In the competition part of the Tattoo Convention, the impartial jury evaluated the works.

Slovenian Tattoo Convention, the organiser of the event, prepared also a rich accompanying programme. The visitors were, thus, able to witness music performances, dance performances of the Oriental dance group Havati and Dance School Urška Kranj, a roller skates competition named Roller Derby, and the Extra Pole Fitness (dance by the pole).
