At the beginning of Summer 2016, the Slovenian Convention Bureau together with the Slovenian Tourist Board and Slovenian meeting providers, will organize a yearly familiarization trip in Slovenia.
Meeting planners will have the opportunity to discover the best meeting and incentive sights in Slovenia between 30 June and 3 July 2016.
Study tour will be conducted for potential clients in meetings industry from key primary markets. Approximately thirty foreign meetings organizers will have the opportunity to learn about Slovenia as an excellent destination for business meetings, events and incentive experiences.
In four days guests will experience the main meetings destinations in three geographical and climate regions such as Ljubljana, Bled and Portorož – Piran, enhanced with personal touches and pleasant surprises.
Millennial meeting planner will take over the Slovenian Convention Bureau’s Facebook and Twitter account. During its annual familiarization trip Aoife McCrum, a 25 year old meeting professional from Dublin, will post, tweet, blog and vlog on the Bureau’s social channels, bringing the perspective of a millennial to the trip.
