The new 2016/2017 winter timetable came into effect on Sunday, 30 October. Passengers will be able to choose from more than 180 scheduled direct flights a week from Ljubljana, to 22 destinations in 18 countries. Adria Airways will be boosting the number of flights to five destinations, with low-cost carrier easyJet introducing an additional connection to London.
The 2016/2017 winter timetable will offer more flights from Ljubljana than last year. Adria Airways will increase the number of flights to Amsterdam (from three to five a week), Paris (from four to five a week), Sarajevo (from three to five a week), Warsaw (from three to five a week) and Zurich (from 12 to 15 flights a week), but will no longer fly to Berlin. Over the winter months, the domestic carrier will fly direct to 16 destinations. These are, alongside those mentioned above: Brussels, Vienna, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Moscow, Munich, Podgorica, Prague, Pristina, Skopje and Tirana.
Scheduled flights with foreign airlines will also increase in number this winter. Passengers will be able to fly twice a day from Ljubljana to Belgrade with Air Serbia, while Turkish Airlines will fly ten times a week to Istanbul. Air France will retain its six flights a week to Paris and LOT Polish Airlines will connect Ljubljana and Warsaw five times a week over the winter period. The Ljubljana-Podgorica route will be served three times a week by Montenegro Airlines. In December 2016 low-cost carrier easyJet will add an additional connection to London, flying into London Gatwick four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), at the same time retaining its daily flight to Stansted. Low-cost airline Wizz Air will continue to connect Ljubljana and London with four flights a week; the Hungarian carrier will also continue to fly to Brussels twice a week.

Arrivals Winter 2016/2017
The 2017 summer timetable will see the arrival of a new low-cost carrier at Ljubljana Airport. Dutch airline Transavia is planning to fly three times a week to Amsterdam (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) from 4 April 2017. Their low fares and attractive flight schedule will bring Ljubljana and Amsterdam even closer together, and increase the availability of flights between the two capitals. Transavia will be using a 189-seater Boeing 737-800 on the new route. All of this means that three low-cost airlines will now be offering passengers 17 flights a week from Ljubljana.
