Before the latest Audi models were presented at International Motor Show Germany 2015 (Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung – IAA) which took place from 17 to 27 September in Frankfurt, they had stopped in Ljubljana. The GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre hosted the event, where the new generation of the models Audi A4 and Audi A4 Avant 500 was presented to invited guests by the Audi ambassador, a legend of racing sport, Emanuele Pirro.
The former Formula One Racer and the Audi five-time winner of the 24-hour race in Le Mans said: “As a former racer what I like in cars is the handling performance and the road holding. I like the combination of driver focus and comfort. Audi enables the driver to drive more relaxed. Not with less concentration, but with less effort.” He added, “It is time for the new technique to help us ensure a higher degree of safety, and the new Audi A4 brings a fraction of it.”
The audience enjoyed the pre-release of limousine and caravan versions of A4, followed by interesting acrobatics and musical spectacle, as well as selected cuisine topped by a well-known sign of Audi brand – food was served in transparent circles.
The organizer of the event, Porsche Slovenia, the representer of Audi as well, decided for the GR – Ljubljana and Exhibition Centre because the venue is easily accessible and it has up to 300 parking lots on the spot. Enough for the attractive car exhibition on outer surface completed by the show in the hall. The combination came out as a vivid branding solution for the audience and for the passers-by too.
