Italian chef Francesco Picaro is taking over the hotel’s culinary operations as the new executive chef for Kempinski Palace Portorož.
With over 20 years of international culinary experience in the hospitality business and expert knowledge in food and beverage operations, staff management, restaurant concept development, restaurant start-ups, and implementation of hotel operating procedures, Francesco represents an ideal candidate to drive all aspects of the culinary field in the luxury hotel, recently named the Best Meetings hotel in the country by Kongres Magazine.
Chef’s portfolio, along with work in Michelin-Starred restaurants, includes work in renowned brands such as Accor, Starwood, Marriott and Four Seasons. He will focus on leading the kitchen team in delivering service quality and excellence through culinary highlights, always embracing Kempinski tradition of European Luxury, standards and flair for remarkable service.
