Ljubljana congress highlights in 2025
In the coming months and in the next year, Ljubljana will host important international events and congresses, including:
- 25. 10.-1. 11. 2025, IDO World Hip Hop and Popping Championships with over 3000 participants, including dancers, accompanying staff and the audience;
- 6.-8. 6. 2025, European Design Festival, which will bring to the city over 500 best European communication designers and
- 17.-20. 6. 2025, Global Hearth Summit with over 1000 participants, aspiring changemakers, striving for a new culture of social change.
Last but not least – the 2025 Conventa boutique trade show, a fixture on the European congress industry calendar for 17 consecutive years, will again mark the beginning of the New Year. Seasoned event planners and newcomers alike, welcome to Ljubljana from 18 to 20 February 2025!
Head of Ljubljana Convention Bureau (Ljubljana Tourism) elected to the ICCA Board of Directors
During the 63rd ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association) Congress, held from October 20-23, 2024 in Abu Dhabi, Jan Oršič, head of Ljubljana Convention Bureau (Ljubljana Tourism) was elected to the ICCA Board of directors (Destination Marketing Sector).
The achievement marks a historic moment for both Slovenia and Ljubljana, as it is the first time the country will have a representative on the ICCA Board of Directors. His election will further boost the visibility of Ljubljana and Slovenia, opening new opportunities for hosting international events and supporting sustainable initiatives.
